The park is situated on the
outskirts of Alhaurin De La Torre, within a kilometre of the popular ́Lauro
Golf ́, and is just 20 minutes from Malaga airport and the very popular La
Carihuela beach. The park has a 12 months operating licence and is
regularly inspected by the Junta de Andalusia.
As part of the ongoing development of the site the following infrastructure
was installed:
• A new tarmac road from the A404 leading down to the entrance of the park,
followed by tarmac roads throughout the park, giving 2 entrances, one for the
mobile homes which offered the mobile home owners their own entrance to the
pool area, and the second offering an entrance to the camping side, reception/
bar area, and shower block, and again offering the campers their own entrance
to the pool.
• A new deporadura system (water treatment plant).
• New electricity and water infrastructure
• Sky TV and fibre optic
• A new pool area with disabled lift offering sun beds and umbrellas, a pool bar
and separate male/female toilets.
• The shower block was given a total upgrade offering separate male/female
showers and toilets with a changing area and disabled shower and toilet in each
block. A chemical waste, and small laundry and utensils washing area. Hot and
cold water throughout run by gas.
A centralised reception, lounge, bar, small bistro, small mini market, toilet and
small kitchen.
• All camping plots have their own electricity and water connections and range
from 90sq. meter to 100 sq. meter. 7 have sewage connection.
• All mobile home plots (120sq. meter.) have water and electricity meters.
• Security cameras throughout and contract with Prosegur
• Fire extinguishers and emergency lighting throughout.
