A TRULY AMAZING BUY, HUGE POTENTIAL AND IN THE CENTRE OF THE PICTURESQUE WHITE VILLAGE OF COÍN! WALKING DISTANCE TO BARS, RESTAURANTS! WOULD MAKE AN IDEAL B&B!

The property is in need of a full reform but on entrance you realise its a real tardis, as a main home there is so much you can do and for a B&B the rooms are separated, as this once was, historically, a large family home where each family separated into their buildings yet easily met.

Situated in the valley of the Rio Grande in the province of Malaga, Coín is one of the most up and coming villages on the Costa del Sol.

This once small village is expanding at an amazing pace and is fast becoming a popular place of residence. Coín has a wealth of important architecture including several churches, the Church of san Andres is also known as the Caridad and forms part of the hospital. The Church of San Juan is one of the largest churches in the province and has been officially declared a national monument.
Coín also houses and important ceramics factory, located on the main road from Fuengirola and a working film studio that was once the set for the TV series ‘El Dorado’. The studio is located on the outskirts of Coín, alongside the main highway to Marbella. The centre of Coín has a wonderful plaza where the old Town Hall is located and local residents sit and while away the hours. The new Town Hall is located in another new plaza with an underground car park, fountains, gardens and several fine bars. The small, narrow streets are lined with family owned shops. The trade of citrus fruits is important in Coin as the quality of oranges, lemons and mandarins is excellent. Oven-made bread is also very popular here. In many cases the ovens are still fired with wood. In the pastry shops you can find the famous 'roscos', a bread based pastry filled with figs.
