This truly magnificent Finca with a very high quality finish and a till today well known B&B, is located just outside the white village of Alcaucin in Malaga, Andalusia.
The location is optimal to enjoy a lot of privacy and yet not be remote. The panoramic view over the valley and towards Lake Vinuela is phenomenal. From sunrise to sunset, the view remains breathtaking.
The village is a 15-minute walk away. In the village there are several restautants, bars and shops for daily shopping. The coastal town of Torre del Mar is a 25 minute drive for a lovely day at the beach where you'll find as well an extensive range of restaurants and shops.
The house:
The house is built in a U-shape. At the front, the entrance is through a large authentic wooden door, which immediately gives a warm and welcoming feeling. Entering the loby of the house you have an immediate overview of the main house. On the right side is a large living room with a huge fireplace where you can relax with friends, family or guests. The view through the large window could also be a painting, so beautiful !!
On the other side of the loby is the dining area and the kitchen. The kitchen could be that of a good restaurant as it is so professionally furnished and equipped!
Directly from the kitchen you have access to a very spacious storage room where a special wine section has been created.
The dining area is spaciously set up to enjoy a meal with a large group of people. You have access to the terrace through the large sliding doors.
This is also the part of the house where you can access the first floor. If the property is used as a as a bed and breakfast, as its presently the case, this area can be used as the private part. It consists of a large bedroom, a bathroom, a living room and there is the possibility of making a small kitchen. French doors lead to a terrace with a beautiful view of the surrounding meadow.
The apartments :
Through two large French doors in the loby you enter the central (open/covered) terrace where you can sit and enjoy your drinks and socialize with your family, guests or friends.
There are also two entrances to two guest rooms on the terrace. The furnishings are of a very high standard, the apartments are fully equipped: they have a private bathroom, seating area and enjoy air conditioning. The atmosphere in the guest rooms is very cosy thanks to the carefully chosen materials.
Two other guest rooms are accessible via their own entrance. These rooms are more spacious and are also easily accessible for disabled people. The guest rooms can be occupied by 4 persons. Here too, the furnishings have been selected with taste and high quality materials were used. The rooms have a bathroom, seating area , air conditioning and quality beds (1 room with 2 x double beds, 1 room with 1 x double bed and 2 x 1 person bed).
Around the house:
The house is set on a beautiful plot of 3.500m2. You access it through an electric gate that can be opened remotely. Immediately upon entering the property you get the impression of a pleasant well-kept environment. The large cypress trees enhance the feeling of luxury. There is parking space for several cars.
On the side and back of the house are several terraces from where you have different beautiful panoramic views. That's also where the swimming pool (8m x 4m!) is located. You'll be able cool off on a hot day and you will still enjoy it in winter time as it is heated!. The outside shower is partly incorporated into a rock wall.
In the landscaped garden you'll admire the many beautiful plant shrubs. The garden is equipped with an irrigation system to keep the garden fresh and colorful.
In short, this property offers a lot if you like comfort, luxury and privacy. And if you have any commercial plans you can start right away!
